What were the problems that you were experiencing with agencies?
After COVID, the agency spend was massive, with multiple agencies charging different rates without oversight. The local authority, CQC, faced criticism for not receiving profiles before staff arrived. This led to late audits, late invoices, and no audits at all agencies.
